Ken Kotarski is a co-founder and Managing Principal of On The Record.
Mr. Kotarski oversees all aspects of the business including pre-trial graphics production and in-courtroom application of advanced computerized visual presentation technology. He serves as a "hot-seat" Trial Technology Consultant for matters across the country and around the globe, including previous matters in France and the Philippines. With 20 years of trial experience in over 300 trials and legal proceedings, Mr. Kotarski is likely the pre-eminent Trial Technology Consultant in the U.S. A number of high profile matters include Continental Airlines et al. v. American Airlines, General Signal v. MCI, Celtech v. L.A. Cellular, Rodney King v. City of Los Angeles, Nestle v. Abbott Laboratories, Stull v. Bank of America, 3M v. Avery Dennison, Trovan v. Pfizer, Isuzu Motors v. Consumers Union (Consumer Reports), Alakayak v. All Alaskan Seafoods, Oakland Raiders v. NFL, Baker (class) v. Motorola, Freedom Wireless v. BCGI, People v. Mr. Kotarski has appeared as a guest speaker on the use of computerized multimedia in litigation at the Northern New Mexico Inn of Courts, the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel Convention, the American Bar Association annual meeting in Ohio and the 1999 Economic Damages Conference in Los Angeles. Prior to founding On The Record, Inc., Ken worked as a Multimedia Producer at Litigation Sciences, Inc. He holds a bachelors degree in Communication with emphasis on Visual Arts Media from the University of California at San Diego.
Charles Dunkin is one of the co-founders and Managing Principals of On The Record. Mr. Dunkin oversees all aspects of the business of On The Record and serves as one of its top trial support technicians for cases across the United States. Mr. Dunkin has also managed the on-site installation and operation of courtroom computer graphics presentation systems in a number of high profile matters such as Rodney King v. City of Los Angeles, Stringfellow toxic tort litigation, Dow Chemical breast implant litigation, Food Lion, Inc. v. ABC, Infosint SA v. Lundbeck & Forest Labs, Tyco Healthcare Group LP et al v. Applied Medical Resources Corp., multiple SEC matters, Rambus v. Micron, Gredd v. Bear Stearns, and Function Media v. Google. Before establishing On The Record, Mr. Dunkin worked for Litigation Sciences Inc. as a video production editor and courtroom technician specialist. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics from Kenyon College.
Michael Lyon is Managing Director of the San Francisco office of On The Record, Inc. In this role, Mr. Lyon oversees the computerized multimedia presentations of all Northern California trials and judicial proceedings. While at On The Record, he has worked on a wide variety of cases including People v. Phil Spector, IREF v. Pfizer, SEC v. Donovan, Natchitoches Parish Hospital v. Tyco Healthcare sharps container class action, Mammoth Lakes Land Acquisition v City of Mammoth Lakes, Watanabe v Blue Shield of CA, Hanes v. Psomas Inc, Casey v. City National Bank, Orix v. GMAC, Waltrip v. Kimberlin, Vitascan v GE, AI Credit Consumer Discount Co. v. Parker & Greenwood, State of CA v. Lloyds of London. Prior to joining On The Record, Mr. Lyon acquired an extensive computer software and hardware background as a Senior Desktop Support Technician for the College of Business at Northern Arizona University. Mr. Lyon holds a bachelors of science in Business Administration emphasizing Computer Information Systems and a minor in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University.
Roy Campos is Managing Director of On The Record's downtown Manhattan office, where he oversees the firm's New York City and Eastern region cases. Mr. Campos resides at the intersection of the legal, business and technological fields, which allows him to elevate the role of case manager by deftly collaborating with the client's litigation team and provide invaluable feedback. With over four years experience in a supporting role at a law office and an education at both Criminal Justice and technological institutes, Mr. Campos is tech savvy, with the legal acumen necessary to provide an unmatched level of service.
